Here’s your chance to talk trash with the Region.
The public works committee is considering raising the cost of garbage tags from $1 to $2. These are the yellow stickers that allow you to put out extra containers on collection day.
The Region is hosting a public meeting to discuss the issue on Feb. 21 at 9:30 p.m.
You can register to speak out about the proposal. Each person or delagation will get 10 minutes at the podium. The meeting is being held at Regional headquarters in Thorold. For more information click here.
The proposal will go before Regional Council on March 1.
