NIAGARA – All essential services provided by Niagara Region will be available on Family Day, Feb. 20.
There will be regular garbage collection on Family Day.
Most Regional offices and facilities will be closed Feb. 20, including:
- Administrative offices
- Sexual health clinics
- Public Health
- Child care centres
Other services provided by Niagara Region will operate on holiday schedules.
Niagara Region Transit and Niagara Specialized Transit:
Niagara Region Transit does not operate on Sundays or statutory holidays. Regular service will resume on Feb. 21. Niagara Specialized Transit will not be operating on Family Day.

Walker’s Residential Drop off Depot (Thorold)
