23rd Annual Niagara College Seafood Gala set for April 13

NIAGARA FALLS - Niagara College Foundation is hosting its 23rd Annual Seafood Gala – a spectacular event that raises funds to support Niagara College students.

The Gala is the Foundation’s premier fundraising event, and includes a seafood (and more) buffet, and an evening of entertainment, all in support of student learning and success.

Proceeds will fund equipment and learning resources, and scholarships and bursaries for students. In the past two decades, the Gala has generated more than $2 million.

“The Seafood Gala is a key part of our efforts to ensure all students have the opportunity to pursue their educational goals,” said Sean Kennedy, Acting Vice President Academic and CEO of the Niagara College Foundation. “We’re very grateful to the guests and sponsors who support our students through this event.”

Bob Jackson, chief executive officer of Vintage Hotels, is chairman of the 2012 Gala, which takes place Friday, April 13 at the Grand Hall of the Fallsview Casino Resort – the Gala’s Platinum Sponsor. In addition to the buffet, the evening will include silent and live auctions and live entertainment.

Tickets are $225 per person and can be reserved by calling 905-735-2211, ext. 7775 or order online at www.NiagaraCollege.ca/Seafoodgala.
