Heartland Forest is asking families to hop on over to Frog Fest on May 5 and 6.
For $10 a family or $3 a person, families can learn all about different species, calls and habitats of frogs and the anatomy of fish and how to identify them. There will be specimens on display from the Royal Ontario Museum, clay sculpting and a fishing pond as well as raffles, contests and prizes to be won.
On May 5, Italo Labignan of Canadian Sportfishing will be on hand to teach knot tying and casting techniques while on Sunday, May 6, you can catch Rob McIntosh of PureFishing with the Berkley Boat and a live reptile show.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks, snacks and treats will be available to purchase as well.
Heartland Forest, located on Kalar Road in Niagara Falls, will be open for Frog Fest from 11 a.m to 4 p.m.
