Fort Erie Arts Council’s Red Ribbon exhibit: Local talent exposed

The Fort Erie Arts Council’s annual fundraiser, the Red Ribbon Art Exhibition will be held this weekend at the Sanctuary for the Arts located at 209 Ridge Road in Ridgeway.

The gala event is Saturday 7-10 p.m. and Sunday the exhibition continues from noon to 4 p.m.



Some of the activities planned include a graffiti-inspired live painting demonstration by Fort Erie artist Joel Weldon, live models wearing designs by local talent Heidi Lynn and a painting for everyone to contribute to. The gala includes a silent auction, the opportunity to talk to the artists and learn about their work as well as appetizers and a cash bar to enjoy in the gorgeous Sanctuary facility.

Sunday is geared towards families and no admission is charged.
