ANNIE SILVESTER/Bullet News

NIAGARA FALLS – Local organic clothing store Earthly Apparel and Accessories is not only celebrating their one year anniversary of successful business in Niagara Falls, but also launching a brand new line of ecofriendly handmade bags that are guaranteed to wow without killing the pocket book.

Made from reclaimed items like leather upholstery remnants and old coats, they are the creations of Earthly Apparel owner’s Nicole Hempworth and her friend seamstress Monica Mouck .

The handbags come in several styles, are customizable and super durable featuring heavy duty nautical hardware and stitching usually reserved for marine tarps or awnings. They also feature whimsical accessories like beads or buttons.  But the best part is they look great and each are unique pieces that you will not find anywhere else!

Check out the video for the full interview with Monica (Mo) and Nicole (Ni) to find out more about these great bags that are all the brainchild of a couple of local entrepreneurs and sure to be flying off the shelves in no time.

Earthly Apparel and Accessories is located at 4025 Dorchester Rd.
