Niagara Regional Police say they stopped some 300 vehicles during a RIDE blitz in St. Catharines on the weekend.

Fifteen drivers were asked to provide breath samples.

One driver was issued a three-day suspension while another was charged with exceeding the legal blood alcohol limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

Police say their campaign to reduce impaired driving will continue up to and through the holiday season.

Bullet News went along wit the NRP for part of the evening Saturday.
