Why wouldn’t you contribute to this? It’s an essential piece of equipment, and no one else is going to pay for it except us Niagara Falls residents.
The people that say they won’t contribute will be the first ones to complain when they have to travel to Welland to get a scan.

It’s not that I wouldn’t contribute I’m just angry that the Liberal Government wasted billions of dollars on EHealth, ORNGE, etc. This would have paid for hundreds of CT scanners.
I also contribute by spending a lot of money on lotteries and at the casino. This money was supposed to go towards health care not towards the ongoing deficit.

Why wouldn’t I contribute? And end up the same way as Port Colborne? Give money for equipment for THAT hospital only to have the NHS and Ministry of Health take it all away and deploy it elsewhere! That’s exaclty what happened when they began downsizing Port Colborne and that’s why that hospital has a hard time getting money for equipment. Also, Niagara FAlls Hospital is closing so why fund equipment for a hospital that isn’t going to be around much longer?

You’re absolutely right, but the fact remains that we need one and it’s not going to get paid for by anyone but Niagara Falls residents.

The NHSwill remove all community purchased equipment to their new super financially strapped Hospital in St Catharines along with services including Maternity, Pediatrics, urology and anything else they can get their grubby hands on . Let St Cath buy their own. I contributed in Fort Erie and look what happened there. The trucks rolled in and stripped us bare. Beware Niagara Falls…they are coming for you too!
