POLICE: Fort Erie youth facing arson charge following fire on Dunlop Street

FORT ERIE – An underage Fort Erie teen has been charged with arson in connection with a fire at a building on Dunlop Street

The incident happened Nov. 17.



Firefighters responded to a report of a working fire inside a building at 40 Dunlop St.

The fire was quickly extinguished. The local fire inspector later determined the cause to be arson.

The investigation was then turned over to the NRP’s Fort Erie detachment detective office.

On Wednesday, police made an arrest.

The name of the youth cannot be published due to the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
