NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Regional Police are searching for four armed men following an early morning robbery at a Niagara Falls hotel.

The incident happened Tuesday around 2:30 a.m. at the Imperial Suites, located at 5851 Victoria Ave.

Police say the male victim was robbed at gunpoint by four male suspects.

Investigators have not said what exactly was stolen.

The victim sustained minor injuries during the robbery.

The suspects, who are described by police as “non-white” and between the ages of 21 and 25, fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

Investigators soon learned they were staying at another hotel in the city. Police raided that location, but the suspects were nowhere to be found.

Police do not believe the robbery was a random incident, saying instead the victim was “specifically targeted.”

The investigation is ongoing by members of the NRP’s Casino Unit Detective Office. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Const. Bryce Diemer at 905-688-4111, ext. 2183.
