CRIME: Police seize $1,600 worth of cocaine during raid in Welland

WELLAND – Two people are facing trafficking charges after a drug raid at a Welland residence.

Niagara Regional Police executed a search warrant at a home on the east side of the city, Wednesday.



Inside, investigators seized $1,300 worth of cocaine and $1,100 in cash.

Kenneth Kupper, 30, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.

Colin Coppard, 35, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Both Kupper and Coppard were held in custody pending a bail hearing today.
