NIAGARA FALLS – Audiences will have a unique opportunity to get closely acquainted with one of the most beloved and recognizable figures in the international film world, Sophia Loren, who joins a stellar lineup of live entertainment this March at Fallsview Casino.
“Just when you think you’ve seen it all at Fallsview Casino Resort, Sophia Loren will enamour guests with a two-night engagement,” said Cathy Price, vice-president of Marketing.
“We’re expecting very high demand for tickets, similar to previous shows starring Hollywood greats like Al Pacino and Carol Burnett.”
Synonymous with grace, beauty and artistry, Oscar-winning actress Sophia Loren will captivate audiences with an intimate onstage conversation for two nights on March 27 & 28.
The prolific career of this legendary star spans over five decades earning a remarkable array of notable accolades, including the first Academy Award presented for a foreign-language role with “Two Women”.
Decades later, in 1991, Loren received an Honorary Award from the Academy in acknowledgement of her indelible contributions to world cinema.
Fallsview Casino’s knockout lineup also presents a thrilling evening with the famous Undisputed Champion of the World, Mike Tyson. Discover the man behind the legend during his acclaimed one-man show, “Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth”, which opens March 20 at the Avalon Theatre for two nights. Directed by Academy Award nominee Spike Lee, Undisputed Truth lends a rare, candid look inside Tyson’s life and career.
Closing out March’s program is a performance by two-time Grammy-winning, platinum-selling artist Colbie Caillat. Named “Breakthrough Artist of the Year” by Billboard, Caillat will excite audiences with hit songs like “Bubbly”, “Realize” and “Brighter than the Sun”.
