UPDATED: Niagara police locate missing elderly Fort Erie woman

An 82-year-old Fort Erie woman who was reported missing Monday night has been found safe and sound.

Niagara Regional Police say the woman, who was last seen driving away from her home to visit local relatives at around 7 p.m., was found driving on Hwy. 407 in Burlington.



Media officer Derek Watson said she was a little disorientated but otherwise in good health.

Watson also thanked the media and for all the retweets of the missing person’s report.
