Police in Niagara Falls investigate double-stabbing at New Year’s Eve party

Police in Niagara Falls are searching for a suspect in connection with a double-stabbing at a house party in Niagara Falls.

Police were called to a house on Slater Avenue around 11 p.m. where they found two men suffering from multiple stab wounds.



A preliminary investigation revealed that the victims had been in a physical confrontation with another male at a small house party when the stabbing occurred.  The suspect fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival and was not found.

The suspect is described as a non-white male in his early 20s, with short brown hair and wearing a white shirt and dark pants.

The victims are currently listed in stable condition in Greater Niagara General Hospital.
