CRIME: Police find more than $17,000 in cash during drug raid at St. Catharines home

ST. CATHARINES – A 25-year-old woman is facing multiple drug charges after Niagara Regional Police raided a St. Catharines home and seized more than $17,000 in cash.

Police executed a search warrant Thursday around 3:54 p.m. at a residence located on Greenwood Avenue.

During the search, police also located $800 worth of marijuana and crack cocaine.

Krystal McNeil, of St. Catharines, is charged with trafficking, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000.

McNeil was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
