CRIME: St. Catharines man accused of trafficking heroin

NIAGARA – A local man is facing a drug trafficking charge following an investigation into the distribution of heroin in the St. Catharines area.

Niagara Regional Police say they had been investigating a male suspect, who was allegedly observed taking part of a drug transaction in Toronto.



Police say they seized roughly $2,500 worth of heroin at the time the arrest was made.

Charged is 29-year-old Patrick McKinnon, of St. Catharines.

McKinnon is further facing one count of breach of recognizance.
