UPDATED: Worker injured in industrial accident in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS – Ontario’s Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate after a worker at a Niagara Falls company was injured in an apparent industrial accident.

Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to a call for assistance at Factor Form, located on Earl Thomas Drive, around 8:14 a.m. Tuesday.



The original call indicated a male had his arm caught in a press, according to Niagara Regional Police spokesman Const. Derek Watson.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to hospital suffered from injuries to both hands, Watson said.
