FORT ERIE – The community is invited to attend the Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce’s “State of Fort Erie” event, to be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Bridgewater Country Club, 700 Gilmore Road, Fort Erie.
“The Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce is eager to help promote our town, engage its citizens, and provide a proactive means for positive change in the coming year,” said Chamber President Dean Demizio.
“Mayor Doug Martin will present his mayoral address, and Jim Thibert, Manager of the Fort Erie Economic Development & Tourism Corporation (EDTC) will provide us with an update.
As well, President Demizio will tell us what the Chamber will be looking to accomplish in 2013. We hope our members and the public will show their interest and come out and enjoy a delicious breakfast, and find out the facts about the state of Fort Erie.”
Registration for the event, sponsored by Meridian Credit Union, begins at 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, home fries, French toast, banana break, coffee, tea, and juice.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Chamber office for $16 (inclusive) for Chamber members and $20 for non-Chamber members.
