CRIME: Police make arrest in BB gun shooting incident in Welland

WELLAND – Niagara Regional Police have made arrests in connection with an investigation into reports of shots being fired near the Welland Curling Club, Sunday.

Police were called to 464 King St. around 1:32 p.m.



A pair of witnesses reported they heard two shots while walking near the curling club.

Investigators soon determined the shots were fired from a BB gun.

Police say two vehicles and the front glass door of the curling club were struck by the pellets.

Charged with weapons dangerous and mischief under $5,000 are Chris Hardman, 22, Randy Hardman, 21, and Dan Dewitt, 23, all of Welland

The three accused will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
