UPDATE: Police advised media at 2:05 p.m. Friday the missing man, Trevor Prescott, has been located. Police extend their thanks to the media and the public for their assistance in getting the work out.

NIAGARA – Niagara Regional Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a missing Vineland senior.
Investigators say Trevor Prescott, 87, left his residence Thursday afternoon in his 2009 beige Dodge Caliber, Ontario license plates BHCW459.
Prescotte was heading to the Hamilton General Hospital, but never arrived. Police say there were sightings in Hamilton and Burlington.
He was last seen at 11:16 p.m. at the gas station on Appleby Line, in Burlington and has not been seen or heard from since.
He is described as white, five-feet, six-inches tall, with white hair.
He was wearing a blue, bomber-style jacket and grey pants.
Prescott has a heart condition which he is on prescribed medication, but does not always take them and is believed to have the onset of dementia.
Police said in a statement Friday appealing for help there is “great concern for his safety and well being.”
