CRIME: Four charged following drug raid at Welland apartment building

WELLAND – Several people were arrested and charged following a police drug raid at a Welland apartment.

On Friday, Niagara Regional Police executed a search warrant at the apartment, which is located on Wellington Street.



Inside, investigators seized $700 worth of prescription medication, $115 in cash and a quantity of ammunition.

Micah Daradick, 23 of Welland, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Eric Silvestri, 24, of Welland, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and breach of a recognizance.

Micheal Quinn, 22, of Welland, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, breach of a recognizance and breach of probation.

Daniel Larocque, 23, of Welland, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All four were held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Saturday.
