Police investigate stabbing at St. Catharines house party

Niagara police are investigating a stabbing that occurred Sunday during a St. Catharines house party.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance at an address on Parker Street.  Upon arrival, officers located two males suffering from head injuries sustained as a result of an altercation with another male armed with a baseball bat.



While investigating this initial incident, officers were told that another person from the same house party was being transported to hospital in a private vehicle after suffering a stab wound sustained at the same house party.

All three victims were transported to the St.Catharines General Hospital for treatment. The victim of the stabbing underwent emergency surgery and is presently listed in stable condition. The two other males were subsequently treated and released.
