Police make arrest in connection with daytime break-and-enters

Niagara Regional Police made an arrest after Welland residents reported seeing a man looking into sheds and walking onto properties.

Police converged on the area of Marc Boulevard and Southworth Street and arrested a man hiding inside a garage.



Corey St. Cyr of Welland is charged with break and enter with intent, possession of break-in instruments, possession of a controlled substance and fail to comply with probation. St Cyr will be held in custody pending a bail hearing.
