NIAGARA FALLS – Do-it-yourselfers in the home and garden industry will be able to indulge their interests again this year with the Niagara Home & Garden show coming back to town.
For the third year in a row, the Niagara Home & Garden show will be highlighting all that the region has to offer in home décor and gardening. Located at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, the show will run from April 5 -7.
“We anticipate a terrific show once again this year in Niagara,” says Pamela Rogers, Director of Corporate Sales of Show Technology.
“This year we have ensured that the Niagara Home and Garden Show not only guarantees an exciting and interactive convention, but also offers patrons the ability to find everything for their home and garden needs all in one place.”
Keeping with the spirit of the show, this year promises to come jam-packed with activities for all ages. Returning is the interactive kid’s zone, guaranteeing that the whole family can enjoy themselves!
Beyond the interactive zone, kids will have the opportunity to enjoy a live Birds of Prey show courtesy of the Canadian Raptor Conservancy.
The organization performs thousands of free-flight demonstrations across the country to millions of people, with birds such as Bald Eagle, Barn Owl and Red-Tailed Hawk.
For the adults, this year’s show offers delicious gourmet food and wine pairs, live cooking demonstrations and extensive shopping in the Art, Gift and Gourmet Centre.
Once again, the show will include seminars with three home and garden experts.
The first celebrity expert that will take part in the seminar will be landscaper and green expert, Ahmed Hassan from DIY network’s ‘Yard Crashers’.
Leon Perel, antiques expert and owner of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s Forum Gallery, will be attending and offering patrons complimentary verbal antique appraisals. Lastly, Mike Danial, Curator at the Stickley Museum in Fayetteville, NY will also be hosting seminars during the weekend show.
