Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre welcomed Tom Whittaker recently as he presented in front of a crowd and toured the newly created rehab facilities at the site. Whittaker who became an amputee in 1979 after a drunk driver hit him rocked conventional wisdom when, he became the first person with a disability to climb Mount Everest.
His experiences have taken him on a journey of self-discovery and in this one one one interview with Bullet News he chats about the importance of holding on to your dreams and that the mind is more powerful than the body.
