FORT ERIE – The search of a Fort Erie residence Thursday led to the discovery of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia by Niagara Regional Police.
On Thursday, after a month-long investigation into the sale of drugs from a home, police and the K9 Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at the home.
Two males were arrested and a quantity of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash were recovered.
Charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime are 47-year-old Kevin Nesbitt of Fort Erie and 18-year-old Phillip Folkes of Ajax. Folkes was also charged with obstructing police.
Both males were held pending a bail hearing.
