PORT COLBORNE – Gary Lindberg from Ridgeway used a last-lap pass and picked up the win for the Cosco Haulage DIRTcar Sportsman on Seaway Mall Night at the New Humberstone Speedway, while Rob Pietz from Gasline picked up his first career Peters Excavating UMP/DIRTcar Late Models victory. Ryan Turner from Caistor Centre, Ontario held off his brother Cory to pick up his first J.C. Auto Street Stock feature of the season.
Tyler Lafantaisie from Welland picked up his first Mini Stocks feature of the season and Greg Haegens from Fenwick picked up his second Mike Knapp Ford Pro 4 Trucks feature of the season.
Sam Iftody from Fenwick continued his winning ways as he picked up his eighth Frontier Auto Dismantlers Pure Stocks feature of the season.
The Enduro that was going to be held will be rescheduled for Sun. Aug. 18.

The flags were flying at half-staff in memory of former Limited Sportsman campaigner Scott Dickie, who recently passed away at age 65. Dickie drove the familiar 00 during the 70s.
Racing returns to the Port Colborne oval Aug. 4, as Rankin Construction presents the annual Molson All Canadian Championships. The Civic Holiday Weekend tradition dates back to 1959. Seven divisions of racing will be hitting the speedway featuring the DIRTcar Modifieds, Sportsman, Late Models, Street Stocks, Pro 4 Trucks, Mini Stocks and Pure Stocks Racing will start promptly at 6 p.m., with both the Pits and Grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m.
The New Humberstone Speedway is located just two miles East of Port Colborne on Highway 3, just 17 miles west of the US/Canadian Border at the Peace Bridge (Buffalo/Fort Erie).
