NIAGARA FALLS – Niagara Regional Police say they seized more than $58,000 worth of cocaine during a raid on a Niagara Falls home.
Police executed a search warrant Tuesday at the undisclosed address based on information obtained through surveillance over a period of several days.
A search of a vehicle associated with the investigation yeilded 66 bags containing 56 grams of cocaine.
Investigators say they found another 490 grams of cocaine inside the residence.
Two people were arrested as a result of the operation.
Charged with two counts of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of possession of proceeds of crime is 72-year-old Tim Levy, of Niagara Falls. Levy was released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
Charged possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking is 32-year-old Todd Mayer, of Niagara Falls. Mayer was held in custody pending a bail hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
